Learn to create though past experiences
Wednesday, April 25th, 2007Most negative habits are formed unconsciously, and require a purposefully conscious effort to break. Breaking negative habits and forming positive ones, usually come from a conscious decision. We tell ourselves to pay more attention to the things we continue to unconsciously do. As we begin to pay more attention we become more focused and sensitive to the things we do, and therefore are more able to recognize when we are recreating negative habits.
Exercises that allow us to focus more on the now…. more on what is going on in and around us at every given moment, allows us to become more sensitized and connected to spirit. Being more connected to spirit allows us to feel our experiences and create that connection of understanding our experience.
When we have lived an experience, either positive or negative, and felt that experience in an exaggerated way, we are able to follow the outcome of that experience from beginning to end, and understand the emotions, used to create that experience, then creating though past experiences become very plauisible in our lives.
Here is an excerpt from a wonderful book I read, called “Ask and it is Given” by Ester and Jerry Hicks. “It is our desire that you become one who is happy with that which you are and with that which you have…..while at the same time being eager to for more. To stand on the brinks of what is coming, feeling eager, optimistic anticipation….with no feeling of impatience, doubt, or unworthiness hindering the receiving of it. That is theoptimal creative vantage point, that is the Scienceof Deliberate Creation at it’s best.”
