Learn to create though past experiences

Wednesday, April 25th, 2007

Most negative habits are formed unconsciously, and require a purposefully conscious effort to break.  Breaking negative habits and forming positive ones, usually come from a conscious decision.  We tell ourselves to pay more attention to the things we continue to unconsciously do.  As we begin to pay more attention we become more focused and sensitive to the things we do, and therefore are more able to recognize when we are recreating negative habits.

Exercises that allow us to focus more on the now….  more on what is going on in and around us at every given moment, allows us to become more sensitized and connected to spirit.  Being more connected to spirit allows us to feel our experiences and create that connection of understanding our experience.

When we have lived an experience, either positive or negative, and felt that experience in an exaggerated way, we are able to follow the outcome of that experience from beginning to end, and understand the emotions, used to create that experience, then creating though past experiences become very plauisible in our lives.

Here is an excerpt from a wonderful book I read, called “Ask and it is Given” by Ester and Jerry Hicks.  “It is our desire that you become one who is happy with that which you are and with that which you have…..while at the same time being eager to for more.  To stand on the brinks of what is coming, feeling eager, optimistic anticipation….with no feeling of impatience, doubt, or unworthiness hindering the receiving of it.  That is theoptimal creative vantage point, that is the Scienceof Deliberate Creation at it’s best.”

Pray your spirit light on

Thursday, April 19th, 2007

Pray your spirit light on….then wait and be open and receptive to the sources that GOD use to send you revelation.  This is a great revelation that was revealed to me by a very close and personal friend, after many years of struggling to be successful in other peoples aspirations.

If you sit in quiet contemplation, you may realize that the success that you have finally fallen into may have derived from the initial passion you had in early youth.  The passion that for many years that lay dormant in your soul.  That passion that would peek out, unnoticed during uninterrupted moments of unconsciously pursuing the “thing” that made you smile.  That passion that you have for that thing, that you seem to do better then anyone else.

It is easier for some of us to fall into that place where we belong….  that place that was made for us, without fumbling though life, searching and trying on the hats of others.  But for the rest of us, we must purposely decide in our minds that we do not want to continue to fumble though life.  We do not want to continue to wear a hat that does not fit us properly.  We must make a purposeful decision to trigger that seed that has layed dormant within us for so long.  We must purposely choose to turn on that inner light, to allow a clear path to the place “thing” that was designed just for us.

Though intentional and repetitive prayer the flickering shimmer of your light will one day become a beaming radiate light that shines so bright, it will be impossible not to see your path.

Can Prayer Supercede Religion???

Tuesday, April 17th, 2007

Is it possible that religion, created by man though devine intervention is a stage we can progress though in order to undertand the powers of prayer? Is it possilbe that the significance of prayer can disentangle the defective teachings and interpretations that man has unintentionally intertwined in religion? Most of us are familiar with “The Good Ship Jesus”, and what about the Islamic reference “fight and slay the pagans (or infidels or unbelievers) wherever you find them”. Both of which have to be interpreted by religious professors and theologians, for us lay people to better understand the true meaning. Could it be possible that these are not GOD’s thoughts, but the thoughts and ideas of man. And could it be possible that though prayer GOD’s true words will shine a light into our hearts for better understanding, rather then leaning on man’s interpretation & understanding. What do you think????

Profiting from Christianity

PrayerRug

At some point in our lives the urge to seek a deeper connection to GOD, by whatever name we may call him, becomes alive in us. During my awakening I was discontent with accepting the religious and spiritual thought of others, or becoming consumed with the ideas familiar to me. I felt that this awakened was much to important to take lightly. Therefore, during my spiritual journey I became open to learning and evaluating many concepts, ideas and religious thoughts. A muslim friend of mine asked me many years ago, if I thought that I, or some of the Christian mega churches were profiting from the poor or on the back of Christianity. He would watch and read about many of the churches selling books, tapes and other learning materials and would question why. He was a muslim trying to understand the thoughts of a Christain. Stepping outside of Christianity, I asked him if he’d ever been so excited about something that he just had to share it with his freinds. He responded, “yes, that is why I wanted to share Islam with you. I wanted to feed your soul with the words of the Quran.” I replied, by telling him that, that is the very same idea. Christian want to feed the souls of everyone they come into contact with, and even though the Bible remains the same, each persons walk will be different…filled with fresh, new, exciting revelation as they grow in there walk with GOD. It becomes alive and the need to express this revelation becomes apart of everything that they are about. It reflects in there life, in there work, and in all that they touch. Christianity profits from the Christian that has allowed GOD’s presence to absorb thoughout their entire life. Therefore when you see someone that has chosen to earn there living by doing what they enjoy, and that thing that they enjoy happens to be in a religious package. It may not be a conscious decision as much as it may be a “heartfelt”, “there’s nothing more that I’d rather do in life” decision then anything else.
