We are all one

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

If we are truly all one in GOD, then what difference does it make what religion one choses to beleive in.  If your religions gets you though the day, and to the next side, then who am I to tell you what you should or shoud not beleive in.

The core of many religions is the belief that we are all of GOD, made of in his likeness.  We may have different earthly bodies that we use to live here on earth, but our spirits are from one source.  I sometimes hear many religions taking offense at the beliefs and interpretation of another religious group, with a feeling of there religion be superior to all others.

In the end we will all die….bodies returning to dust, and spirits returning to GOD.

Truth regarding eary Christian teachings

Saturday, December 1st, 2007

Have you ever wondered about the true teachings of early christians?  Maybe somewhere along your spiritual path of learning you decided not to go along with the norm, and just believe everything that you heard.  There are many Christian seekers of knowledge that chose to learn beyond just what they were taught though the interpretations of others, and seek out a deeper understanding.

Is is really possible that eary scholars may have interpreted the very same things we are hearing our ministers preach on Sunday, in a totally different way.  I think as a Christian, seeking truth and a deeper understanding of GOD’s word, it is essential that you stop and ask question.

I recall reading the preface of an older Bible many years before I began my journey and I remember reading from the text that “the text had been changed over the years, and that it would be impossible for the reader to actually understand the text as it had been in it’s original structure.

This was one of the things that made me stop and wonder.  So, today I share with you a Free 62 page booklet entitled “The Anti Christ”.

Work at Home Visibility

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007

I recenty purchased a work at home directory from Prime Publishing, which was only one of the many directories I’d come across in my search for work at home jobs. This directory featured a long list of different opportunities like craft assembly, data entry, computer work, sales, and even affiliate programs.

There were just a few in the list of almost 100 opportunities that sounded familiar to me, from way back in the day, when most of the advertising was done in the Globe & Sun weekly magazines. Those were the days, just before the directories became a source for work at home opportunity seekers.

Work at Home directories were a great asset to businesses offering work at home opportunities. The Globe & Sun were a thing of the pass and our advertising expense dropped tremendously. If you were a work at home business conducting any type of national advertising during that time, you were quickly picked up by the directory sources, either by permission or not. But, all in all it was a good thing.

As time passed some of the older work at home businesses grew and you may now be able to find them lingering around the internet, and new work at home businesses were formed. This work at home directory provides a few of the work at home businesses that you can find online, however there are still many that do not have an internet presence.

I feel that two of the most important assets of a work at home business, in this day and time, is to allow your business to be visible and reputable.

The list of work at home seekers today, is even greater then 10 years ago. People are looking for ways to stay at home and earn a income for whatever situation they may be in. I have created a work at home forum for my work at home opportunities.

If you do not have a work at home presence, you may want to consider opening your business up to more visibility and shining light on your business as a reputable work at home business.

Visit  forum and tell the workers who you are, as a work at home business.

Listen to your spiritual leads

Friday, May 4th, 2007

All my life I have enjoyed being creative and working with my hands.  Somehow without thinking about it I ended up gravitating toward the craft of latch hooking.  I suppose some would say that the joy of crafting is apart of me, something GOD created me to enjoy.

But I have to express that finding this place of contentment did not come easy.  Sure I’m happy now, and I enjoy what I do and how I make my living, but I often remember the path that I unconsciously chose to get here.

I remember graduating from high school and being expected to go to college.  I remember going because I was expected to do so.  I also recall taking art class and enjoying it.  Arts, and crafts and creativity gave me a sense of normalcy.  It was something that just fit into my lifestyle as if it was created just for me.

As time passed and it was time to make life decisions, I did what most of us do.  I decided to stop allowing myself to gravitate toward things that I liked and pushed myself into doing things that made good “common sense”.   Things that most of us call “grown up” decisions.

I chose jobs that paid good, or opportunities that others were doing well at… or opportunities that seemed like a good grown up idea at the time.   I actually put quite a bit of thought into the decisions I made for my life.

I remember my best friends was making tons and tons of money in real estate.  So I thought about the fact that many years ago, I watched one of those “no money down” real estate shows, and recalled how impressed I was with the concept.  I knew for sure that this must be what I was suppose to do.  So, I put on my real estate hat and sat out to become a real estate guru.   It was a process indeed, and I recall the best moments of my real estate career was the time I spent creating my flyers.

Well, I never became a real estate guru, or any of the other one million things I thought that I would try while making my grown up decisions.  I decided to listen to my heart.  Listen to what GOD placed inside of me, by following leads that take me to my place of joy.  Leads that allow me to find passion in what I do.  Leads that make me understand why I can be watching t.v with my eyes, but creating in my mind.  Leads that help me to understand why I can’t pass a craft store, without at least wondering what new things they have.  Leads that make me silently see the possibilities of beauty in a displeasing or unattractive design.

I’ve finally made a grown up decision to pay very close attention to my spiritual leads.

Walking in your place of rest

Tuesday, May 1st, 2007

If you take the time to walk it all out, while in your place of rest it will prepare you for a new dimension.  Sometimes, when it seems that we’re going though a relatively stable period in our lives, a moment of nothingness, a period of time when nothing extremely uplifting is happening, it is at those times that we need to walk -out all that we have learned, in order to be prepared for the next stage in life.

It’s now time to highlight and bring to the foreground the very things that have bought us to the place we now reside in.   Learning to give without ceasing, learning to pray without ceasing, learning to love without ceasing.  The time has come to transcend that learning into the act of performing.

To walk out…. in performance the fundamentals of all that has been revealed to us, will guide us into preparation for a successful spiritual transition.

Knowing what is right for your spirit

Tuesday, May 1st, 2007

As a child it was my parents job to feed me.  I ate what was prepared and learned to determine what I liked and what I didn’t like.  When I became an adult I generally ate what I’d eaten as a child, because it was familiar to me.  Because I’d had prior experience of it, and had already determined what I liked.

Later as I began to be more exposed to different types of foods that I’d not been exposed to as a child, I decided that in order to know if I liked them I’d have to take a moment to try them.  Some I liked, some I didn’t.  But my determination was based on knowledge and experience, of a variety of choices, as opposed to determining that I did not like something that I had never experienced.

When I was a kid, my spirit was feed by the hands of my parents.   Over and over, I was fed what they had been fed over and over, by the generations before them.   Being fed the same thing over and over, can sometimes distort your view of it’s true depths and cause you to form a resistance or refusal to want any parts of it.  It is at that time, it is important to purge your spirit and revisit what you were fed on your own terms…..tasting it as if you are tasting it for the first time.

In our attempt at choosing what is right for our spirit.  We have to nourish our soul by allowing access to true understanding in determining what is right for us, and then embracing what has caused us to grow.  You sometimes have to venture on unfamiliar grounds, and re-examine the things you were once familiar with in order to know what is right for your spirit.
